$50-75 for an excellent condition used one on eBay. That's the route I'd go.

i just bought the next size up plug from the auto parts store, then drove it in with my ryobie 18v 1/2" impact gun. it self taps the hole as you work it in. i ran oil threw a few times and Q-tipped it as well to try and get any metal out. 12k miles now and no problems. im thinking on my next oil change ill just blue lock tite and some thread sealer a fumoto drain plug in. and not have to worry about un threading a drain plug anymore.

also i didn't drive the self taping plug in very straight either.

In case anyone looks at this again, on my 2000 Disco 2 V8 registered in France, it’s a 15mm not a 14mm
