That must be it. Too bad I couldn't have cleaned it when we were at 12,000 feet yesterday just to see if the results were any better.

Cover your ECU, distributor if you have one and you will be in pretty good shape.

You really don't want to use steam on your engine, cold water, high pressure rinse at the car wash as aleady mentioned is the best way or you will start having electrical issues.
