I re-read his write-up and I think it is do-able. Even by a novice like me... I will order the kit and essentially bet $130 on this. If I am wrong... oh well... you guys can say: "we told you to get the codes before spending any money!"

The 4 lights that are on:
Hill Descent
ABS
TC
Red Brake Light (top left corner of the dashboard).
OK! I won't try to be a hero and fix things without knowing what is going on. I assume that the local Autozone or Advance Auto Parts or O'Reily's wouldn't carry ABS code scanner, right?

Unfortunately the guy at the parts store didn't have a clue. Their scanner will NOT be able to read the Rover ABS codes. I used to work at a repair shop with several thousand of $s scan tools. None could do the Rover ABS codes. You need a specific scan tool for that. I now am back at O'Reilly auto parts. We have a scan tool to loan out that can read ABS codes...ABS codes on a lot of vehicles...Land Rover is not in that list.
