I re-read his write-up and I think it is do-able. Even by a novice like me... I will order the kit and essentially bet $130 on this. If I am wrong... oh well... you guys can say: "we told you to get the codes before spending any money!"
Thank you Phil. Have a great evening and I appreciate your help.
Bob

You might as well just buy an ABS amigo if you plan on keeping the truck. you are going to run into this issue in the future and won't know what hub to replace. that is if you don't already need a hub....

Actually when I went to Advance Auto surprised when the guy said yes! Unfortunately he couldn't figure out how to use the scanner and the guy who knew was not there.
Anyway, if anybody else is having trouble with the 3 amigos, you may want to try the auto store first!

OK! I won't try to be a hero and fix things without knowing what is going on. I assume that the local Autozone or Advance Auto Parts or O'Reily's wouldn't carry ABS code scanner, right?
I have the same lights on. Nothing on the sensor, computer has been reset. same

Unfortunately the guy at the parts store didn't have a clue. Their scanner will NOT be able to read the Rover ABS codes. I used to work at a repair shop with several thousand of $s scan tools. None could do the Rover ABS codes. You need a specific scan tool for that. I now am back at O'Reilly auto parts. We have a scan tool to loan out that can read ABS codes...ABS codes on a lot of vehicles...Land Rover is not in that list.

Indeed, you are correct!!! $200 scanner that is capable of reading the ABS codes can't! I guess they have to download a specific app!
In the meantime, would anyone know why I have a 4th light?
Thx
Bob

from RAVE for brake light, the standard things (low fluid, etc.) plus the SLABS can turn it on also for a variety of things, but you need that special code reader.... See attached
