Nice work! I may have to build one of these. The only problem i see is the junky old American hose clamps. Those things are garbage and they ruin your hose. Spend a few bucks on some Swedish or German clamps. They will not ruin your hoses and look great too.

I like what I see!! My current t-hose is patched up and in need of replacing, but all my hoses are in good shape. This would solve a major problem for me. Are you going to be making them for purchase?

I would be interested in making them available for purchase, although I didn't want to break any forum rules, so I wanted to see what the proper way to do it would be... I have to say, if it wasn't for this forum some of my other rover projects would have been much harder to accomplish! -Just completed my front driveshaft rebuild!!!

Cottage industry encouraged. Pix, price, and have them PM you with their email. Put link in your signature and participate on the forum, lots of people will see it. You get big enough and site owners will call. Pretty much like someone parting out a vehicle, yes the site is involved, but does not handle transactions, and the extra traffic still counts for the ads that we all "enjoy" that pay for the party. Price your item right so it is fair, leave yourself enough room to discount for large volume orders from on-line vendors. Above all price it enough to make a profit so you will be in business the next time someone needs one. Have a modest quantity made up, boxed, and ready to ship. Keep in mind that other designs are out there. I do like the plastic purge hose that you can see the bubbles in as you bleed...

Of course not all ideas are a market success. I don't have any firm orders for my Spanish Moss air filter, or Valentine's special order massage oil - yet...

That does look like a problem solver. Add an 1/8 inch NPT bung on the back for an aftermarket temp sender and it will be a total solution deal. You could probably crank them out pretty rapidly now that you know what pieces to make them out of.

PM with requests, will send quotes for those interested. First batches may have delay, as initially I will have to wait on raw material shipments and adjust my inventories according to demand. Of course, no payments will be collected until product is ready to ship. Final product will also be pressure tested to ensure quality and safe operation well above recommended cooling system pressures. Will include test result with every shipped tee.

Hi,
First post, I hope I am not abusing my privileges.

I am now making an aluminum hose tee for the Discovery, for those who want to avoid cooling system problems.

If there are any other plastic coolant pieces that fail, let me know.

Thanks,
MikeJTR
