Default rear door card removal help

so found a white D2 at the junk yard today with a mint rear door and glass. bought it and brought it home and pulled most of the stuff off the junk yard door to get it ready for the wiring from the D2 to go into it. so i got the speakers off and all that's left is the door card itself. is there a tool you guys used to get it off with out braking all the red little tabs that hold the door card to the door? also i noticed in the junk yard door the two wires that go up to the brake light, how the heck do you get that wire out? as everything ells had a plug and i was able to just un plug, but the brake lights look like the black and green wire go around the glass inside the door and out a rubber grommet and into the rear brake light. i guess i could attach some pull string to the old wires and then pull it out. when i go to put my wires into the door i can use the pull string to hopefully pull the new wires around the door and out the small hole at the top were the brake light is?

other then the pull string idea, not sure how to pull the upper brake light wires up and around to the top center part of the window?

starting to think i should have removed the door rather then the guy at the junk yard. he took the 6 bolts off holding the two hinges and then just cut the electrical going from the car into the door. bet ya all that needed to be done was unplug the plug inside the car and i could have just unmounted the old door and mounted the new door and plug and play. owell. will probably just cut the few wires in the dented door and run the harness threw the new door and just crimp the 2 wires together for the rear brake light.

There are no plugs for the rear door if I remember correctly. I was going about adding some a while back and never finished. Nothing on my back door works right now. I really should finish that project.

Alex_M, ur right, just found the harness on ebay and there def no plug there. Well I guess I'll just push my wires into the door and just cut into the brake light wire, it's just two wires anyways.
