Default Rear shaft can not b put back together

As a part of the u joint replacement I took the shaft apart (2pieces) and now I can't put the 2 pieces together. It just does not get back in. Can anyone tell me what am I doing wrong?

are you using a lot of grease? Also, did you index the two pieces so you could put them back together the same way they came apart?

Ok problem was solved. For those like me (benigers). There is a guide (mark) in one of the arms that hold the U Joint and another inside the long part of the shaft. Just make sure you align both and the 2 pieces will be together like butter.
