Default Rubber floor lining?

Curious if others have approached floor lining with say some custom rubber liner to rid soggy carpet?

fixing some frame punk- and as I’ve peeled some carpet up - this case is rear cargo area to get to fuel pump to drop tank, where the carpet and sound deafening material is soaking wet. It’s from sunroof drains - which will be addressed next - but im not sure I want to put the original liner back in there..
cutting out rear cargo carpet entirely can be an easy option - and a rover load mat seems to be a hens tooth. People thing they’re gold plated.

Just wondering if anyone has used a custom rubber mat in a similar execution?
BecauSe inevitably- the front foot wells and even b pillars floors are going to be similar condition I assume.
its not too bad yet (not nearly as bad as I expected) under carpets- but the water pouring in as of recently is going to cause problems soon.

I was looking to do the same on my Disco (no leaks, just the carpet gets filthy after every couple of trail trips). I couldn't find anything that would be already pre-made, but if you search youtube you can find some DIY solutions on how to mold vinyl flooring sheets (you can get those in any color with a bunch of different textures) to match the wheel wells, etc. I've also replaced the (gross) foam padding with Dynamat.

I've toyed with the idea for awhile. I've done bed liner in Jeeps before. Big thing is how much noisier the cab gets, and how much warmer/colder it gets. That 2-3" foam piece on the carpet does some good work keeping the cabin insulated from noise and the elements.

Why not get a good replacement from a southern truck breaker?

Carpet and sound reduction material removal = more road noise will be heard....if that bothers you.

I understand the noise will increase- which always seems to get much louder then you anticipate.
perhaps lining it with bedliner or a rubber seamless adhesive to coat the floor - then..

Dunamatt is an expensive approach I would assume.
must be something more recycled or install friendly
