Checking the crank sensor is easy. Hook up scan tool and monitor rpm. Crank truck. If you have rpm, it's working and you should have spark and fuel pump and injector pulse. If you have no spark but rpm on scanner, you have an issue with power supply to coils. You can check the negative pulse to coils with a harbor freight logic tester connected to positive batt. You can also test injector pulse the same way. Remember that 12v is always on with key on and ecu pulses negative to fire coils and injectors.

Right, of course. I mixed up the security lockout which turns off injectors, not spark.
