Default Seat belt pre-tensioner

On and off, on and off, on and off, the good old SRS light. The verdict is a passenger side seat belt pre-tensioner. Not to eager to fix immediately considering the light is so infrequent. My question is, when I do decide to fix it, is this a job I could handle. I am pretty handy but not sure if this job would be something worth doing myself. Any help, Thanks.

NOOO!!! TAKE IT TO A SHOP!!! The seatbelt pretensioner is gas charged, like a airbag and can kill you if you dont know what the hell you are doing.
Bite the bullet and let the pro's handle this one. Sooner than later. Your passengerslife depends on it.

Have you actually had the SLS codes read and verified it is the tensioner?
