I had a thread about this a little while back. It does help if you are in town or on "hilly" roads. My wife uses it in here '04 all the time. City streets and highway driving. Her truck stays in Sport Mode all the time, my '99 goes out of Sport Mode when I shut off the engine, so I forget to put it back in when I turn it on. It does seem to help though. Here's my thread about it... got a lot of replies.

Default Statistical process

One of the ways to know if you are doing better is to run about a dozen or so tanks in each mode driving the same way, preferably in the same places. A statistical set should comprise of a data set of at least 30 of each but a dozen usually shows a trend. Bla bla yadda yadda I know I know! Should be called sadistics !
Could temperature have anything to do with it? I know there is a difference in Summer and Winter gas from the refinery.
This is interesting I would love to improve gas mileage on my 99 since I drive 80 mi to get to work and back . Most on the highway though. We should all gather data for awhile and post some results. Probably won't get many more miles but it may help.

Just thinkin

Dang I average like 9-10, but I do a lot of 2-5 miles drives at 25-35 mph along with a few hours of offroading on each tank.

Sick, yes all are firing. I did add a can of seafoam to that tank. Matt I remember your thread and looked for it before I did this on.

911 drivers are up to the challenge. They can even take on wet concrete!
