Has anyone ran straight E-85 in there Rover? Did the check engine like come on?
My wife and I joke about buying a Prius and running it on E-85 and then call it the green machine.

You can, but you need a $750 conversion kit to make it work or you'll have horrible issues.

What if I only run a tank once in a blue moon?
We run it in our '89 Camry during the summer. Runs to poor when it is cold.

Is the E-85octane high enough for the rovers? The compression is pretty high for a street vehical.

E-85 is 105 octane. Sorry, I thought it was common knowledge. They put that on the pumps around here.

I have never seen a E-85 pump here in Washington State. I used to own a flex fuel vehical, but there was noE-85 available around here.
