squeky brakes causing abs issue??

I don't remember the exact code number, but it had something to do with the left rear sensor out of range. I think voltage was out of range, or something like that. It only happens when the brakes squeal. Left rear brake was the one that squeals most. My truck had brand new brakes installed before I bought it, so am not ready to replace pads, will permatex first and see if that works.

Why this scanner vs the Autel AL scanner? There is like a $100 difference if you could enlighten me.

The CDP+ does a lot on many different vehicles (ABS, OBDII, SRS, Reprogramming on SOME items {Some Vehicles}, Removing Learned Shift Patterns, ETC), but it DOES require a computer that you can get to your vehicle. Laptop or Tablet, Windows XP or Higher. It's a nice device, just not very portable.

Here is a PDF File that lists all the vehicles and functions supported.
