SRS light will not go out:

When I had the SRS light come on for my V8, the Nanocom showed fault code 022 "THE LEFT HAND PRETENSIONER MEASURES OPEN CIRCUIT (PERMANENT)". It couldn’t clear the fault so the SRS light kept coming on meaning there was truly a fault in the system.
I checked all the electrics (fuses, relays, wire connections) under the driver’s seat. After doing that I restarted my Disco and I had no more SRS light or fault code.

The error codes state: 9008 Open Circuit, Drivers Air Bag Circuit.
Personally I think that nanocom tool is a BS expense, and extremely over priced. I can not justify paying nearly 1/3 of what I actually paid for the vehicle on a code reader. I know it does more than read codes ... but it’s still exorbitant. No less so than the fact that the ILand should be an affordable owner support product; it is unfathomable to me that the single vehicle dongle for a phone app is nearly $300.

Honestly, it's paid off itself off 10x already in the 2 months I've had it to use on my Disco 2 and two of my friend's Discos. It quickly corrected issues that a LR garage would have charged us £££/$$$ to fix the problems.
It saves time and money.

Have you used a Nanocom before? I thought the same thing as far as the price.

Not to mention I must be the only Disco owner in Kentucky; or no other person who owns a Disco in Kentucky is a member of this group; or none of those other Disco owners who may live in Kentucky own a Nanocom. I’ve asked to borrow or rent one...and crickets.

I paid 39K for my first 03 D2 back when it was new and the Nanocom for 600.00 (not what I paid) would have been a steal. I've used it to SYNC gauge clusters, set BCU settings that have bugged me for years, and so much more. I was very fortunate to get mine in mint condition from a fellow LR owner for under 200.00, and Nanocom tech support is awesome. I had issues with the SYNC feature and they had me up and going with a beta firmware in a matter of hours.
I was able to enable the factory fog lights on my Kalahari & 04 S D2, clear the adaptive settings, properly program the BCU in my 99 (it was configured crazy with it showing a diesel and other options that were incorrect). I'd have bought one a LONGTIME ago had I known how useful it truly would have been.
