PTI...

Disco Mike, I'm about to do a p/s flush...I know I need a cheap hand pump, 3 quarts of Valvoline's synthetic p/s fluid and a bottle of Lucas p/s additive...but how do I give you a shout?

Thanks!

All you need to do is suck out the old fluid, refill, drive for a day, suck out the old fluid and then refill.

Spike...do I also add the Lucas p/s additive on each flush? Or only the first (or second)?

Best

It is my opinion that if you need a additive then you need a new oil. (power steering fluid is a hydrulic oil)

But to answer your question, I would add it after you are all said and done. Do not add any more than half a bottle of the additive.
After you suck out the fluid for the second time, add your Lucus and then your power steering fluid.
