Evap pump (under truck) is not the same as a fuel pump (in the gas tank). It is a small pump that makes pressure in the fuel recirculation system to detect a leak of one size or another. See attached pix and diagram from RAVE.

Haven't had time to work on it yet, but is this a dumb question, can I get a used fuel pump? I know that it's probably not a good idea but I'm not wanting to spend $400 on one. If I can get it running, then I can use it as a trade. Also, my p1450 code, anyone know where I can find a used evap pump/motor, I think I should start with that for that issue, but they are expensive too? Thanks for the help everybody!

Yes you can find a used fuel pump at a salvage yard but you will need to know if you have secondary air or not. You have trade ideas in mind?

Yes, I have secondary air injection. Yes, I am wanting to get rid of this money pit. I love the truck, for the 10 minutes when everything is working correctly. I haven't even been able to go off road because I'm too scared it will leave me stranded, I was ok with doing some work here and there, but I have spent a few grand already and have atleast a few more before all issues are resolved, and as a daily driver...need more reliability. But, from what I've already seen, trade in value sucks too, truck is pretty clean, had a dealer offer me $1250 for it as a trade? WTF? So I guess I'm stuck with it. If that is the case then maybe over the next few months I can tackle everything else and then have a toy. I got another vehicle now so the rover can just be parked for now.

Yea you will not get much for trade in unfortunately. Money pit not so much the parts are cheap and its just a truck if you can do the work on it yourself you can overcome the issues. I just had a truck towed in to me with a code that nobody knows anything about not even buzz or Disco mike could help me out with it its bad bad bad when those two wizards dont have a answer for you. With in a few days i beat that code and all problems are gone and its back out running around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont give on your D II buddy.
