Yeah, SG is much more effective than PP in the applications I've used in with at least.
And remember, 10 gallons of SG is pretty inexpensive in the context of this repair being done by a shop. Whenever I balk at the cost of parts or a project overall, it helps to remind myself how much I'm saving (not to mention the better quality) doing this at home vs taking to a shop.

Completely agree, my question is in the context of shop use. I was hired as the manager of the shop in question (East Tennessee Customs in Johnson City, TN), but we're only about 6 months into this venture so we're trying to minimize our costs right now as well as business continues to ramp up.

This is the specific type of Simple Green everyone’s using? I live in a high fire area and it’s hot and bone dry right now, so I have to be careful with gasoline, although I have some old gas on hand that I’d want to use… It seems it’s good to have this stuff on hand and I’d like something I can put in a spray bottle anyway.
