You may gain a little, but it is not significant, especially for the amount of effort you put in disconnecting them. The front is different however, you gain quite a bit disconnecting the front because of the panhard rod.

Just figured I throw this in because D Mike brought it up. I've had a K&N filter in my Disco for three years and I clean it approx 3 times a year. I have never had an issue.

Nevermind, read back into the thread and saw what you mean. I've had a K&N on my Volvo for a few years as well

FWIW I've run without sways for about a year now and it seems fine.

Hi, just wanted to update you guys. I ended up buying front sway-bar links and installed them on the rear. The front links are the same mounts and and run approx 3-4" taller than the rear. I've had them in for a couple months now and they work great on and off road. Easy mod.
I'm guesing this woudn't be good for you unless you are lifting your truck at least 3".

Anything over 3" and you're articulation is killed by the watts linkage, then after that the radius arms.....

the D2 wasn't made for crazy articulation like the D1/Defender/RRC

Watts have been extended and slightly angled to deal with the lift.

On a side note i'm really surprised that there are not really any after market options out there to deal with the Watts and the lift. I've sen the rovertyme arms chopped at an angle but that price seems nuts for such a simple mod. I'm surprised no noe has made a drop bracket that can bolt on to the truck to help adjust to a 2 or 3" lift.

Justin sells RTE "knockoffs" for a lot less, they are still around $200 or so.
