Terrafirma bumper installation has me stumped
I'm guessing someone on this forum could take 30 seconds with a tape measure. Then you could compare against yours and see if your frame is off. Seems like it would be worth the time before trying to return a cut up bumper.

With the trouble he is having mounting this thing I suspect the frame is out of alignment.
No provision for headlight washers, but that's the case with a lot of aftermarket bumpers. ARB may be the only one that has mounting holes for the headlight washers.
I've been trying to figure out how to put together labeled pictures to show why my initial problems with mounting it could not be related to any frame tweaking or frame alignment problems from the accident. But not only have I not yet figured that out but at this point I'm exhausted from the process and haven't had the energy to do so. Plus I have other things in my life that need attention too.
But here we go. The attached picture is the best I have to try to illustrate the problem. The biggest problem was the vertical distance between the top of the diagonal and the top of the mounting holes. Even a frame "tweak" that misaligned the frame horns wouldn't have changed that without some obvious damage to the welds. The same goes for the horizontal distance between the vertical weld that joins the diagonal to the frame horn and the mounting holes.
I believe there was mention on one of these pages that his truck was involved in a collision at some point in time and he had assumptions the frame may have been tweaked as a result.

Its boxed and gusseted, its not going to bend there. My frame is tweaked slightly where the pan hard rod connects to the frame from someone hitting the passenger wheel (I guess) before I owned it. That front section is so strong the stock front bumper slid on and off with no problem even with the tweak.
It would be hard for this alignment to be from a chassis problem unless the side rail was crushed top to bottom at the front

That doesn't mean that other issues might not be from a chassis tweak, but that isn't.

As in, do they even have a QA process?
I have installed my fair share of these and this has never been an issue before.
