I used a block of wood and gently held it up out of the way while I removed the 3 Allen Bolts. Took me maybe 30min, is it sticky with brake fluid? Your shuttle valves might be leaking. I'd use a mirror to take a peak up into each one.

I took it all the way out...no big deal...they don't LOOK wet, and I stuck a finger in there and it felt dry.

And I know I'm going to get heat for this, but I stripped the old insulation off the wires, wrapped with electrical, heatshrinked, then wrapped with electrical again.

I bought a trailer harnes like the ABS mod page mentions, spliced, connected and heatshrinked.
Passes ohm tests. Reinstalling in the morning

Last update:

so I've driven about 300 miles since I've completed the option B repair...and it has not recoded. Looks like I'm good to go.

On any D2 I buy that has the 3 Amigo's the first thing that gets done is a code scan, then Option B. Then I live the simple life without any orange glow from the dash. I'm amazed at how many people just run around with those lights on due to that weak link inside the Wabco unit.

Yes, it's a great feeling to do the mod and how it simply works, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it turned out once I figured how to access the screws without removing the unit. Atlantic British had a video on this and it gave me the confidence to be a bit more aggressive with moving and pulling up the brake unit.

I'm about 3000km in and works perfectly. ABS and traction control working happily all winter here in Toronto.
