Default Tire Size??

Hey guys I have a 96 disco currently are running 235/70/16 I believe to be stock size. It is time for new tires and I am thinking about changing sizes going a bit bigger. I have a all stock set up. I want a bit wider tire and a bit taller. I am thinking 245/70/16. What are your thoughts? I want all terrain. Thanks.

245/75/16 will fit just fine with a 100% stock truck.
And yes, 235/70/16 is factory size.

If you plan on off roading at all I would recommend upgrading your suspension to a 2" OME lift and running 235/85s or 265/75 if you run mostly mud. Both of these are roughly 32" tires.

Ditto.
With your old warn out suspension, if you go ogg roading thru dips and ruts, you will rub or damage a 245/70/16.
Seriously consider redoing your suspension.

+1... suspension will make a world of difference in how ur rover drives and rides and looks and everything... its not difficult to do with basic tools and not excessively expensive...
