Default Transfer Case jack bracket / adaptor

Im about to pull my transfer case, and notice it must be nice to have a mount to mate to a jack for removal..
Before I spend an hour or 2 making one - does anyone have one they may want to rent or share for a cpl days? Just curious.

I read someone suggest a harbor freight motorcycle jack also works nicely..

You'd be welcome to grab mine, but it's a bit of a drive from Mass. Made it to replace the head of my Pittsburgh jack.

The problem with a motorcycle jack is that it's not on wheels, so it will be difficult to move the t-case straight backwards to clear the input shaft.

A moto jack from HF can be had cheap & is on wheels. There are great pics, that detail from the D1 manual & lots of inspiration photos I found. I figured this was a shot in the dark/ as much as an opportunity to chat with brains of the forum.
Ultimately its going to be easiest in my time frame to just make one quick. New England will have one to borrow in the next few days..

Transmission jack isn't much more and gives you a lot of flexibility. That's what I would use.

Moto jack and transmission jack are the same price from HF. I was mistaken -- the moto jack does have wheels but they are very small so it probably won't roll easily or smoothly. The transmission jack has angled top pieces so I was able to use it without needing an adaptor plate.

this one? I need to do the same. I'd love to not have to make that adapter, but I can. my welder is in a storage unit and I'd love to not have to go get it.

No, this one: http://www.harborfreight.com/450-lb-...ack-61232.html
I did fabricate a wooden adaptor, but I ended up not needing it.

I made a few modes on the one I made, a 30 mm dia, section of round bar fit straight into my 3 ton trolly jack, and instead of a solid angle plate , I made a screw devise so could change he angle to suit the TC box position in situ
