Default Transmission leak

Finally wrapping up the 1.4 t case swap and noticed trans fluid leaking from what appears to be shift linkage housing. It’s above the pan, any suggestions on how to make that one stop? Fingers crossed I can just tighten something up and get back to driving this rig. Too much crud to get a good idea by feeling around if there’s a way to adjust/tighten

So looks like it's the selector shaft seal. Has anyone replaced one before? Rave has the pan dropped and valve body assembly removed which while doable would rather not if there's another way...

Maybe try your favorite chemical stop leak. Blue Devil worked for me.

I might go that route until this fall/winter at least. I've got a d1/classic pan with a dip stick to put on so it's not the end of the world to pull it all apart but I need to be done messing with this truck and start using it so I can move on to other vehicles lol
