Ok so after the 180 thermostat and new coolant here's what I haz: driving approx 195.8F........idle approx 201.2F-203.0F how did I did?

You dropped from 217 at idle to 201. And took 8 degrees off at steady speed. Seems like a good improvement. Rad may be sludged somewhat, you can check that with an IR thermometer top to bottom on the fins, want to stay within 10F. Lower rows fill up with calcium, dexmud, sludge, old stopz leakz from PO, etc. So radiator don't radiate like it oughta. Viscous clutch in good shape?

Clutch is good, I'll have to check the radiator temps.

I havent checked the rad temps yet but this morning on the way to work it stayed steady at 194F while driving, dropped to 190F when coasting and 199F at idle. Looks better

i have been running between 207 and 221 for 2 years now .I guess i should start with a new tstat and go from there.
