I have 2 D2's with 1inch spacers and 2inch MD and the same shocks which came with both 2inch kits. Zero change in ride quality. My springs were broken in by the time I added the 1inch spacers (slight bit of sag), but maybe they've changed the shock length since I bought my kits.

Tire wise always do a chalk test to get the specific PSI for your setup but yes E rated will certainly be stiffer vs a C rated tire.

No one has mentioned this but it could be your shocks are seized up.

shocks seals can go out and seize. It would not be normal for shocks that are only a a couple years old but it IS possible

to test this, you can drive up a rock or ledge or rti ramp and if your sock on that corner is not compressing or shock on the other side is not extending….

I have an OME 2” lift plus spacers for a total of 3” inches of lift. I have HD springs and the OME +2” shocks. The extended length shocks just give you
more down travel on the axle. Nothing is bottoming out for me. I think you need +2 shocks up front as mentioned
