I have an A/C question. The driver side seems to be working just fine (it blows Ice Cold) but the passenger side is warm. I tried to set the passenger side as low as it will go but no response. Not that I care if my passenger is comfortable, but don't want this to be sign of things to come.

As a side note, I did start to notice a ''refrigerant sound'' becoming more pronounced in the dash. (if that makes any scene) It kind of reminded me of how loud the window shaker a/c units sound when they kick off and you can hear the refrigerant in the coils still moving.

Sounds like you might have a stuck servo or flap inside the dash. Its dual climate control so one side might be stuck on heat.

Do you remember what you used? Was it bolt in or did you have to rewire it?

I just saw your other posts, thank you very much.

I will look it up for you, I wired them right into the stock connector. The chances of two fans crappy out at the same time is slim.

Be dang sure you wire them so the air is pushed into the radiator, not blown out the grille (like my PO did). As for both fail at once, it is not uncommon for owners who don't pay attention to such things to "hear" the fan running and assume it is "both running", very common in the W124 Mercedes tribe.

I think these are the ones I used, you just have to reverse the blades.

I wired them to the stock wire loom and bought two pieces of aluminum flat stock at HD 1/4 x 2 x 36", mounted the flat stock to the truck (l to r) using existing holes and them mounted the fans to the flat stock.
I don't like those clips the give you to stick threw the radiator, I wanted something more ridged.

Got a replacement OEM fan installed tonight, however the weather dropped into the 50s here and I am not sure I could get the AC to turn on which should spin that fan. I dont suppose there is a way to just turn on the A/C no matter the temperature?

Found that someone swapped fuse #5 for a 30A and it was blown. Replaced with a 40a but still no spinning. Took the truck out for a drive and let it idle in the driveway for about 5 mins as well but still nothing. Confirmed that fan does spin when power is applied.

Found the issue. Bad wiring to the AC compressor, fixed the plug and now nice cold air. Had a shop confirm the pressure in both lines are within spec. The condenser fan now spins as well since the compressor is now running.

Thanks all for the help!
