I installed a Mantec snorkel and a Brownchurch half rack this weekend. Next weekend it is time to add the Terrafirma rear bumper. The weekend after that will be my 2in OME lift and shocks with Terrafirma rims and BF AT tires. The last major items I will put on after tha is my RTE front slim line bumper and winch and Saudi grille. I can't wait to complete it!

Chased down a suddenly grinding brake noise at about 10:00 last night...turns out the front right caliper bracket had a seized slide on it...destroyed the pad (completely slid off the bracket while my wife driving it), wrecked the caliper and the rotor.

Luckily, I have a very nice D2 parts truck handy, so I pulled the parts from it, and by 12:30 this morning had everything back up and running...

Changed the oil and filter and lubed the drive shafts.

Changed oil and filter and lubed everything within reach, including the front drive shaft.

Also found that some previous expert had secured the cruise control vacuum pump to its bracket with a bungee-cord, instead of taking the trouble to secure it with the rubber grommets intended for that purpose. It worked, but didn't appear that it would for much longer. Not the first such surprise that I've found, so the adventure continues.
