What did you do with your DII today?
I added a TF HD 2in lift last Christmas and after swapping the springs on both sides it always sat a half inch lower on one side. So today, a whole year later, I finally added a half inch spacer to my low side. Sits perfectly level now. Only problem is I learned my +2 TF shock is basically dead....after exactly one year!
At this rate I prolly won't replace shocks til next Christmas.

Today I found a nice little loop to keep me on my toes. It's about 1/4 mile of double track, mostly quad and OHV trails. It has sand, mud, deep ruts, climbs, descents, and enough off camber and/or washed out sections to let my suspension flex... all that's missing is loose cobbles and exposed bedrock, and it would be a perfect all in one warm up before hitting the trails.
Ran it in both directions today. Nothing difficult, but it's tough enough to make me think about choosing my line, wheel placement, speed on descents, throttle on climbs, etc... all good things to be thinking about.
Got some really odd looks from young guys in lifted 2wd pickups who were using the easier parts of the trail as a shortcut to the nearest main road... they looked as me like I was nuts as I came up and over a hill, waving and smiling, when the easier path was the bypass that stayed in the flats...
On my final descent, came upon a quad with two female riders. It was a mild enough climb that I backed up to the top to let them pass... but no, they drove their quad into the brush to let me pass... and got stuck... I was about 30 seconds away from backing up the hill(again, but a different section) and pulling them out when they got back on the trail and sped off... I never get to play with my toys... my 30 foot, 9000 lb recovery strap, and my 8000 lb come along are both still in the packaging, and will stay there until another day.

Not me, but I had Land Rover Manhattan replace my windshield after a rock nailed it.
Well, I guess they were in a giving mood this season, because about 5 minutes into my drive I discovered that I was definitely looking through a heated windscreen that I definitely didn't drop the truck off with (it came with a non-heated version).
Switch, relays, and BCM reprogramming will happen in the coming days.

I just got a quote for $300 for a new one installed.
Mine cost £425 GBP some years ago for genuine LR green tinted Pilkington Opticool heated screen. I beginning to feel I was shafted.
Correction, I actually paid £60 GBP the insurance policy screen clause paid the rest .......... phew.

$300? Where is this?
Dusty, thanks. I don't trust that dealer. We have seen their customers bring there trucks in to us because the don't like LR Manhattan...
And I for the Mercedes dealer across the street.

Burlington Glass in Vermont
Replaced spark plugs and spark plug wires to kick off 2015! Started at noon - took my time and took several breaks from laying across the top of my engine and ran errands in between, etc. Finished up at 8:00 pm. My D2 has SAI and found instructions posted by DeepBlueWater extremely helpful - will be adding a picture of the removed SAI tube and helpful tools I used to that thread. One casualty was the IM fitting for the PCV valve that I broke while laying on the engine - so idle is rough but the truck runs great otherwise and no CEL!
If you're paying out of pocket, I'd take the chance on Safelite or someone similar, though you're not going to get the OEM glass.
