One question; is that only one rumble seat you have? How did you manage that?
I bought a jump set setup from a local dismantler, but I only installed the right side.

Replaced a burnt out turn signal bulb. Gotta keep those rear ones working, don't want anyone rear ending me.

Is it possible to remove the rubber fender flares?

Are you referring to the wheel arch fender flares, or the rubber mud flaps under the truck? I believe the arch fender flares are made of something other than rubber, but I could be wrong. If that's the case, then yes, you can remove them. They are held on by double sided tape of some sort. I've read that people will take them off to sand and paint them, then tape them back on. Or, you can just pull them off. I hear it takes a lot of work to get all of the tape glue off, though.

I may eventually pull mine off, as they are worn, pitted, and fading to gray. It's just not on the top of my to-do list right now.

Yep! Just a pain in the ***. Remove the screws. Bring a heat gun... and some goo gone.

Measured suspension, debated keeping the Rover frame.

Plausible, not probable.

Finished up my Drivers side window project. The rusted out window lift channel made it much more difficult than it would have been. If you have to install a window lift channel use a screwdriver to widen it a little bit at both ends and a few places in the middle. Could not get it on without that, and lots of grease between the channel and the rubber insert. Working great now.

Installed a Gatorback fan belt as my Dayco belt was squeaking. I could tell immediately that it was quieter. Happy to have switched. I have had a Dayco Tensioner and now fan belt that I have been disappointed in.

This week has been productive. A little bleeding but a lot done.

Waited until the mad rush before the snow storm was over and then drove my Disco down to the store around 5:00 pm. It was like a ghost town on the roads and felt like I was the only one in the store. Best time to beat the crowds - everyone else is hunkering down and I'm out traversing the nasty stuff. Gotta love that feeling even more this time of year!

Took my new to me 03 Disco out for its maiden voyage. Have had it for a month now, and ordered new Kingsborne 8 mm wires, New coil pack, and ngk iridium plugs, to get the two misfiring cylinders working. Since everything ran perfect, I checked all the bulbs, fuses, brake lights etc, ready for state inspection for tomorrow. One of the two license plate lights is toast and ordered a replacement(not the bulb, but the whole fixture).
