Getting closer with my media center install. Got my amp installed where cd changer was, hooked up my sub, Pioneer TS-SWX251 10" Flat Subwoofer. This is low profile sub and perfect size. Decided to remove the speaker grate off rear door subs, and found them to be falling apart, so I replaced them with some Alpine SPS-600 2-way speakers I had sitting on a shelf.(debated on disconnecting the tweeter, but left alone). After seeing the shape the subs were in, I guess i need to check out the woofers in the 4 doors. Will wait until I hear the system, before i tackle that.

Yesterday, Brown Santa brought me my lug nuts. No chrome caps to fail. Solid, chrome plated lug nuts. This morning, I got a flat tire on my way to a job interview... sidewall failure. No jack. Thankfully, I found a ride and got to my interview on time. This afternoon, I finally got new tires. 265/65 18 Goodyear Wrangler Trailmarks. This weekend I will be flipping my spare tire mount so my new spare will fit, and either relocating my wiper fluid reservoir, or taking my heat gun to it and reshaping it so it doesn't rub when I turn.

haha.. I'm confused! Sorry ......but... is it possible to do all of that in one day? I'm a one thing at a time kind of guy. Just reading all of that gave me a headache.. in the best kind of way, of course Do you contract out?.... I'm in dire need of a power steering pump replacement, seat warmer fix, my dash screwed on straight and all sorts of mundane things. Although crossbars and rear access ladders sound like fun to me

+1. DO NOT buy the D1 lugs.

Not talking from experience or anything . . .

Oh, BTW, if anyone wants a set of D1 lugs, I have some fore sale

Where are you located? The PS pump is actually quite easy.

No haha, not all in one day. I should have said something about that. Maybe a few months. I have always just lurked this thread.

In other news, my current passenger in the vehicle is a $200 dehumidifier I'm plugging in at night to suck the moisture out of the carpets. i've got can of damprid wedged under there too to allow some circulation. I poured out about half a litre of water just now. Those AC drains cause problems if not kept in check. I recommend clearing them at least every 3 months.

Took my winter tires off and bought new 265/60/18 Firestone Destinations. $900 all in. They look pretty good on there, though.
