Great picture! I wish we had snow. I just bought 6 Yokohama Geolandar I/T's on closeout and I'd like to use them.
It's 70* today

If I was doing this all again, I think i'd look for a set of 16"s and a smaller tire. The taller tire coupled with all the extra weight is forcing me to regear the truck.

I broke the step in the back... well, it rusted through and it no longer goes back up. Time to ditch it I guess. Also took the subwoofer out and both speakers are rotten. I don't think I will be replacing the subwoofer, need ideas on what to put in there instead that's actually useful. Might add a storage caddy in there or something like that. Found that my third brake light is not working. Bulb is good, fuse for brake lights is good and the brake lights do work. Now I'm troubleshooting an electrical issue I guess... not fun. Found that A/C, even though it worked a month ago now won't come on. Bummer.

Very nice, where did you get directions for the mod or did you come up with it yourself?

Finally got both batteries in place, with the Hood able to latch.

Next up, is installing the IBS battery system and all the extra electrical gizmo's I've bolted on. I'm racing to get the truck ready for a run down to the Oregon desert for a landspeed world record attempt at the end of the month.

It's the Columbia Overland d2 battery tray. The modification was to get it to fit in a facelift (03-04) D2

Do these impact off road clearances at all?

Found out a P0307 was due to a cracked spark plug.

I had recently changed the wires so I'm really glad it was this and not the coils, those would have been a pain to replace.

I upgraded the 3 168/194 bulbs in my Kalahari's gauge cluster to the Sylvania LED 168/194 bulbs and re-installed the little green bulb tops to keep the cluster green. LED's can dim, and the white needles show up much much better!

I had my overheat on I-195. Great fun. Coolant pouring down on the axle somewhere on the driver's side of the engine.
