Its original with 160k miles on it. The fiber is part of it btw. I tend to be rough on my disco so its no surprise to me when stuff like this happens.

Oh btw does anyone knows where i can get a HD version of the roto flex?

Finally got all my hoses in and replaced all the coolant hoses and lines. Reservoir still looks good so I'm using it. Didn't see much gunk or any noticeable rust come out of the radiator when I flushed it, so that's a good thing Need to replace spark plugs soon.

New front prop shaft arrived from Lucky8. Going to swap that out on Saturday. New radiator reservoir cap arrived as well.

My new EQUIPE 4X4 front shock towers came in from Italy! This marks the start of piecing the suspension together.

Edit: Picture isn't showing here, but should work by clicking on it?

Default R&R'd X,Y,Z Switch

Installed a used X,Y,Z switch. Simple and straight forward. As others have said no special LR tool required. Prior to tightening the two retaining bolts checked for correct gear selection. Allowable switch movement can allow faulty indication of some positions. Adjusted per common sense and torqued bolts. Ops check good.

No longer need to clear faults & S&M lights via my ScanGauge after each use of reverse gear. Transfer box high/low range selection no longer locked out and diff lock light now off immediately after unlocking rather than having to go into reverse prior to extinguishing.

I'm about 3 days or so from having this up and running as my daily driver. After that, it's LC9 time for my 2 d2's.

Default Trans Fluid/Filter

Finally got around to ZF trans fluid and filter service. Fluid drained was rode hard/put up wet and likely never changed prior. Plan to repeat drain/refill sans filter a couple of times soon for further purge/dilution of old fluid. Used my newish 2 mm bead measuring tool to ensure proper fluid level. Trans seemed fine before but now is noticeably smoother shifting and torque converter lockup occurring at lower MPH/RPM. Dirty work and result's can be rewarding.

Default Coil Packs and wires...fun.

First week with the car and already digging in. Two days into cruising my Discovery popped a misfire #5 code. No spark led me to swapping the coil packs. While I was at it I decided to do valve cover gaskets, throttle body service, upper intake gasket, wires and plugs. Took 6 hours but got a lot done and good to go. Was not difficult at all. Toughest part was removing the secondary air.
