I replaced all the rubber and plastic coolant hoses. I also descaled the heater core, but discovered that somewhere along the line someone had crossed the heater hoses. I now have heat, and rock solid temps according to Torque Pro and the OBDII port. This weekend will see a complete brake overhaul (rotors, calipers, pads) as well as rear bearings and speed sensors. Last weekend I installed the terafirma rear shocks (TF119), and I've been amazed at the difference. The old shocks weren't that old, just not up to the task.

D*mn it, Joe. You're going to make me paint my wheels black again. That is sexy. Your two discos are the same colors as mine two, except the grey one is in pieces.

Went on a road trip to get my new winch bumper for $200 last week

Today fixed the coin tray and ash tray using this great mod! https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...de-pics-43588/

Congratulations on the new acquisition. Looks like a great drive. The front does look a little sad without a winch--will complete the look nicely.

Thanks! It does need a winch. Other things to buy before that though. I'll get one over the summer probably

Used it like the truck it is. Bought my wife a new fence for the yard and she agrees to let me get my head gasket kit.

Nice paint. It's strange to see that engine so bright and oil free.
