Get a cordless impact wrench. I wish I had gotten mine sooner.

 

I ordered a bigger breaker bar but a cordless impact wrench is definitely next on the list!

 

You could reach the rear headbolts with the cordless though?

 

I did my head bolts with a 24" breaker bar. Didn't have the impact back then. Should be able to reach them though

 

Yes, that's what i just had to order was a 24"! It comes tomorrow so hopefully I can get it done.

 

...and the saga continues. Breaker bar came! busted my socket Time to go get an impact socket I suppose lol

 

Changed the rear diff fluid and sucked out all the PS fluid in the resv and refilled it with fresh fluid. The diff fluid was surprisingly clean but I'm swapping the diffs and t-case to syn fluid.

 

24" breaker bar with impact socket = 10 head bolts out! take everything else tomorrow(definately go with the 5/8 socket vice 16mm). Attempted front leather seat cleaning and restore. Apparently I am going to need a soft bristle brush for my random orbital as elbow grease isn't cutting it. Now to find one!

 

I'm not sure what product you are using on the leather but check out the stuff sold by Chemical Guys. I have had great luck with all of their different products, plus a lot of their cleaners can be diluted so they go further, they even have a dilution chart on their website for each product you can dilute down.

 

YES! I have ordered a lot of things from them specifically for this vehicle. It did not get the seats as clean as I would have liked diluted and full strength. It just needs to be agitated more than I can by hand but softly. I did see a guy use a soft bristle on a random orbital that worked wonders so I'm going to try that. So far I bought a ridiculous amount of things from them lol. I did purchase this vehicle to fix and flip but we have fallen in love with the damn thing and have driven it all but once. Once i'm done with this the Jeep is getting sold and we are keeping this lol. I'm wondering though if there is something else I should be replacing since I have the entire engine torn apart.
