That's exactly what I did with my LED bar switch

Just use a dremel and be careful not to nip off those tabs on the back
Then my lettering will be sideways...haha! Cool man. Didn't think about that. I used my dremel as well to get this one to fit vertically. Fit's snug. Sliced off that blank tab so it can fit. Not sure what that is for??

I cut and soldered into the reverse lights in the rear, the bar is wired to the battery with a supplied switch that I mounted on my centre console until I get the factory AUX switch.

But yeah, everything is soldered. I hate crimp connectors and such

Found it! The plastic belt tensioner pulley had cracked. The bearing was loose and floating around inside of it.
Mine is doing the same. Squealing bad on start up then settling down. But intermittently chirping or squealing once warmed up. This could be the culprit. Need to hunt it down. Thanks!

Well, today i didnt do squat. But in the last week ive installed a 180 oem tstat, adjusted the top of both driver side doors so they close all the way, switched around the front and rear window switches (i like the fronts on top), epoxied the window switch panel in place since only one screw tab was left, and found out my ac works...if the line to the accumulator didnt leak and the ac fan worked.

When my t-case/range linkage slipped off the spline when I was testing it in a parking lot, I just ripped out the center console there and then so I could fix it!
