Got my transmission mounts in today, took me all of 30 minutes to replace both of them. Right side was in 3 pieces, left one was cracking. No more rattling of drivers side cat against the frame and put tranny and TC back its correct position.

Turner Engineering sells a H180 cam that is a huge upgrade over stock for the 4.6 engine. I mean, really big difference. Also, Crowler makes one as well.

If you called or emailed Turner they would probably tell you all you need to know, they are great to deal with. It comes from England, but I got my short block from them and it did not take long, and was not inordinately expensive either, I am in Chicago so it may have helped being close to O'Hare.

After dragging my feet and sitting on these for 6 months, new fog lights.

Cut the connector for the old fogs lights, Soldered in some 2 pin trailer connectors. on the harness and the fog lamp and boom, easily replaceable, cheap to replace for lamps.
Bolted to the front bumper support bar for rigidity.

I suspect it also helps protect the hood paint from engine temps.

i was thinking of getting a white hood (if i find one) from the junk yard and just cut the hood vents into it. those hood vents are expensive. Draw it out and cut away, and then i guess just paint the vented area with white or black rhino liner or something.

Did spark plugs this morning. Had a "misfire" at idle but wouldn't trip the CEL. These plugs only have 25k on them, Bosch platinum. Oil is changed every 3500, engine air filter is changed every 10k and only premium gas is used

Went with NGK iridium this time around.

Default home-made rear bumper

Finished my rear bumper. I finally have real steel on all 4 sides now; I feel bad for the guy with a plastic car that is unlucky enough to run into me!

I trimmed some of the aluminum (or aluminEum, so all you Brits know what I'm talking about! ) from the rear quarters so there's less chance of getting hung up..
