I already knew my heater core was probably clogged.
I blame your removal of the throttle body heater

Haha right....

I blame the previous owner that apparently used more tap water vs coolant in his Kalahari. It was calcium deposits that I finally blew out. Flow went from nothing to a blob of goo, then it flowed perfectly. Heater is fully operational and good to go now.

However probably the same people as the Throttle Body Heater Plate debate will say that not crossing the heater hoses = my engine is going to implode as soon as the Thermostat opens... For that argument = look at the heater hoses on a RRC! They go straight in/out vs cross.

230K and a 30min fix from start to finish (including going into town) = no biggie. It was a good thing I replaced the heater hoses anyway as the center part that connects the two OEM heater lines together was starting to separate from one of the heater hoses, which could have failed at any time.

I bought 5ft of Gates 5/8 Coolant Hose and I had enough left over to have 2 trail spares.

Default Installed new boots on 2001 Land Rover Disc. II SE

Installed boot for the L/H stick and the hand brake - they looked like 16 year old work gloves .... now the whole interior looks like it got a redo.
FYI: ordered the boots online for less than 10$ and used my glue gun instead of superglue...
Next week I should be starting the headliner job ough! and while the liner is removed add wiring for the back up cam and parking sensor kit. - I don't need encouragement, just good luck LOL

Put a radiant barrier between the headliner and roof.
Makes a big difference, especially for about $25.
