I didn't do the roof. I left it white since it's kind of a nod to the old Rovers. I will post pics soon.

My roof is rusting around the edges, and the clear is in really bad shape. I was thinking about sanding, and repainting in a lighter green or tan LR Cover. Just swapping the roof panel seems a bit smarter, but I look forward to your pics, and experience with it.

I got the sense that Disco Dad swapped all the body panels except the roof

I still need to paint at the seam between the back doors and the quarters. I'm thinking of using the same satin black that I used for the grill and trim under the headlights. A new headliner is next on the list. I will pull the one from the doner rig and then the swap will be pretty fast.

Very cool! It's subtle, but noticable.

I'm with Alex. I think it is really cool. The guys that do flat white on top I think miss them ark. It looks off with the metallic paint of the main body, but this looks great. It should be subtle.

If you don't mind, I would love to hear how the roof panel swap went. I am going to go with the lighter green on mine. Thanks for sharing!
