Default CPS install tool

Had a bourbon and slept on it....and soaked exhaust nuts. Today I’m going to make a tool that may solve the problem....or I may drop the exhaust!

Update tomorrow.
As promised.....I found a tool which worked perfectly to hold the CPS pigtail while doing the plugin. A bit of temporary clearance of the inner fender made it easy to reach around the frame with my right hand while holding this body trim tool with my left. Getting the cover bolts to align was also a bit tedious

i just went through all this, as well. what a pain in the ***, shoulder, wrist and neck. eventually my i was able to convince my wife to come out and help.

the most frustrating bit is that the issue turned out to be frayed wires. the CKPS wasn't even the issue. on a positive note, i now have a trail spare.

I participated in the second annual Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service Land Rover Run from Sandringham to Holkham in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity in England.

Last year’s event... https://www.firefighterscharity.org....-in-droves/%20

It was great to see UK Land Rover owners coming out to support a great cause and drive for 3 hours along the green lanes of Norfolk.

I just swapped an engine into a Disco so my wife could have her own, we've driven it just over 200 miles so far. Today we drove it on a 200+ mile trip and I accidentally left home without - GASP - my tool bag! I remembered I forgot to toss it in the back while we were still not too far from home but thought I'd give the truck a serious vote of confidence and wing it sans tools. Happy to say we made it without a hitch. phew!
