What did you do with your DII today?
That's actually what l thought...wow...that's some serious bumper material right there...lol.
I like the white walls in the garage, been on my list for two years now, really reflects the light nicely.

Transferred the nearly-new springs and shocks on three of the four corners from the donor to the project truck along with putting in new EBC rotors and brake pads. Only did three because (a) one of the studs on the RR wheel on the new truck is just spinning in place so I can't get that wheel off, and (b) I couldn't get one of the nuts off of the shock tower on the donor truck. As a result, I discovered that it IS possible to remove the front spring and shock without taking out the shock tower, provided that you compress them enough.
After hearing an odd growly sound from the front end, I found out that a bearing or something is showing its age on my 2001 Disco 2. The water pump needs to be replaced. Should be an easy thing to do this coming weekend: remove cowl, remove belt, remove pulley, drain, detach a hose or two, unbolt and toss the old pump, clean, set new gasket, bolt on new unit, and then work backwards.

Both the water pump and fan clutch in my truck are still going strong at 172,000+, but I plan to replace both clutch and pump together when it's time to do so.
