It's been really busy trying to find the time to play but I managed the following over the last month:

Water pump, tstat, coolant reservoir, cap, hoses (sending time this year for some of it as I didn't touch the water pump until it overheated after the first round). I could have a head gasket leak but I'm not 100% on that till I get done with a smoke test, which I can't do till I can properly pressurize the system. New blower arrives before the weekend, so I'll know more then.

Added my new bumper, terrafirma shocks and springs, and SS brake lines. She's going to get the bully bar and skid plate fabricated tomorrow.

Planning on a paint job, new rear callipers and slotted rotors all the way around as long this spring, as long

the head gaskets don't need done - or the wishlist will change.

How much would the skid plate fab cost? I’m not a big off-roader but love the look of them just can’t justify the money for them unless there was a cheap alternative

Unless you know someone who would build you skidplate, it will be cheaper and easier to buy one.
Quality fab work is hard to come by, and you're gonna pay for it when you find it.

It doesn’t even have to be a real skid plate just for looks sadly , my mall crawler doesn’t do heavy enough off-roading to need real plates

I can't speak for that one except personally - I know someone. Metalline (locally) quoted me $160 materials & labor for the skid-plating and the tubing work on top. I'll report back and post a pic after I get her back this weekend.

Broke the stupid plastic nipple off the throttle body, the one with the hose that goes to the valve cover... FV308 on the way. The plastic one I found loose creating a vacuum leak, tightened it up a few weeks ago and thought it was good, but I checked again and it was again loose and causing a vacuum leak. This time I tightened too much and it just broke in half. Now I have an extractor bit threaded into it to keep from having a really big vacuum leak. Now I'll just have to figure out how to get the broken end out of the TB.

Flat blade screw driver will get it out, stick it in there & twist it out.
