What did you do with your DII today?

Bad day. Went about replacing the u-joints on the front prop shaft. After getting the correct u-joints (mine was installed with the 380), I was reinstalling them when I broke the casting for one of the retaining clips. Dammit anyway.
i decided to just order a new shaft from lk8 and be done with it!

Thought about cutting up my rear hatch to relocate the handle to allow me to mount a spare jerry can there (then I would have moved the license plate to the fuel can base)
.
Decided instead to mount the extra fuel tank on the spare tire for now.
Has anyone else done this, and if so, what brackets did you use to hold it onto your spare?

Hit 68K miles on my 04 SE7
.
Engine gets hot, but I got a 180 thermostat I need to install. On the iLand it showed temp was ticking up to the point that everyone on here says beware. Only gets hot if I jump in and immediately hit the highway booking it to a plant, or if I sit in park after about 10-15 mins (SC in July). Because of the nature of the cooling system, I just switch the ac to auto or blast it and it comes down after a couple minutes on the road. Never had it hit the red, but once the180 thermo gets in shouldn't be an issue.
I have a small heater core leak, I think... Anyone know if a Freon leak could leave residue on the passenger floorboard? Also I've heard about K-Seal, and the don't do its. Since I have might have a small crack in the core (hoping its just the gasket on the pipe) and will replace the thermostat and hoses, anyone have thoughts on using a small amount of K-Seal for the leak and then flushing the system and replacing the thermo? People say it can block up your heater core, but it's a 50/50 if I have to replace the core anyway.
