ill be sure to post some as soon as im finished with the silly wiring....
I had some extra relays and I've been having to much fun. ( wicked over kill but it will never break)
Much less rattling now. Sounded like a beat up WW2 tank before with the control joints clacking and half of a cat honeycomb bouncing around the inside of the OEM muffler.
I have to agree. After I did my ball joints and fixed exhaust leaks, was one of the most satisfying repairs I have done to the disco so far.
In the last week:
Replaced air box intake hose with a rubber one since the original was degrading.
Replaced idler pulley (passenger side) and serpentine belt that it ate when the pulley failed.
Received shipment of new ARB bumper to replace the smashed bumper cover when I had a little vehicular altercation with a Lexus recently.
Finally did it. After years of looking/thinking, I finally pulled the trigger. Lost the useless subwoofer and took some 22 gauge steel and cut out a new panel. Then welded up a table with expanded metal and 1/8” flat bar. Mounted hinges to the tire carrier bolts, coated everything in bedliner, and I’m done.
Also fabricated a 5# propane mount to the roof ladder. Almost ready for some trail food...
After five years of being Roverless, I put a deposit down on a 2001 Disco II SE7. My bank had closed, otherwise I'd have paid and driven it home. Instead, I have to wait until Monday to take custody.
