reconnected the linkage between the outside handle and the opening mechanism on the right rear door. FIVE HOURS it took me.
it's obvious that someone has had this door open before, given the state of the plastic lining. and that they used loctite on EVERYTHING when they put it back together. i had to drill out almost every screw to be able to move the mechanisms to where i could reach anything. thankfully i have my parts truck as a source for replacements.

“Giver” just about did it.
But took a random passing pickup. Then it was quite easy and no damage done.
I will always wonder how it would have gone if I’d put my centre lock unit in. Was on the list for this summer...

Early Saturday and Sunday canoe trips with the kids are becoming the norm at my house now. The trailer is easy to load but.......

I’m thinking a roof rack would be cooler, might even put a couple rollers on the back to slide it easier.

Too bad you don't live nearer me. You could buy my Garvin Wilderness rack. I once carried two canoes on it for a Boy Scout trip by rigging a 2x4 across the center of it to provide outriggers. I was also pulling a canoe trailer with six canoes. I had the whole fleet!

Well I got my roof rack mounted. I want to make some changes tho. Need 2 more big lights, make a bar to protect them, and reinforce my rack mounts. I’ll probably just gusset what I have. Used 4” wide by 1/8” steel. They seem to flex more than I’d like.

Got 2 fishing rod holders installed. Notched pvc and zip ties did the trick. Sorry for the glare, super sunny out today
