What did you do with your DII today?

it is an 03.
I looked at each cylinder with a snake camera and could not find any compromised walls or anything else out of place.
I do know the oil pan was from another vehicle. i think some one was very lazy when they did then pan swap.
As of now the car runs and sounds good ( well goodish i think rockers are on the list for next year)

We just ran up towards quartz meadow (I think that's the name of the fork, it's a right when the trail splits 6-8 miles in) it is forest road 667 and it's East fork campground. There is a massive ranch that owns 5 miles of land that the forest road runs through in a middle portion. There are outfitters on the land so just a heads up that archery season starts this weekend so I would bet there will be a bunch of side x side and 4wheeler traffic. It's gorgeous through there though and if you like to fly fish the road follows one of the headwater forks of the San Juan River.

Replaced the y-pipe with a Magnaflow #49720 because the OEM cat was making a hellacious tapping noise. Fitment is unsatisfactory. Connection at the back was off by 1.5" to to left. Will have to have the local exhaust shop correct it. Not 10 hours later, the front drive shaft is about to let loose its mortal coil. Was silent up to this point (previous owner(s) did replace it before with a greasable unit). Currently at the shop while I order a new shaft for them to install.

Not today, but on Sunday I and my son were towing a U-Haul trailer to and from Portland, and as the afternoon got hotter we came to the realization that we needed to get the AC working, even if it was just a hack and knowing full well that it would leak out in a few days. A black Disco in the sun heats up something fierce. So, I popped into the first auto parts store I came across and bought a can of refrigerant that also had seam sweller and dye in it, sprayed it in until the pressures were in the green, and enjoyed working AC for the first time in weeks.
But the surprising thing is that the seal sweller seems to have actually worked! We've had cold AC for days, even during yesterday's 100° afternoon. I'd never tried refrigerant with seal sweller in it before, but I'm shocked that it actually works.

Love those wheels, was going to pick up a set for my most recent project but the closest set was 3 hours away. Ended up with a set of oem 21's.
