Platform with 2 32x18x7 drawers Reflectix window covers with blackout curtains pinned to the outside Going to get a second one of these, just $20 from amazon and a boatload of storage in these Molle seatback covers. Front side of bed hinges to uncover chests that are removable to put seats back in. Just my girlfriend and I in Cali so it won’t happen often unless fam/friends come to visit from Ohio. Replaced the rear wall with some wood and reattached the stock cargo bin. Added a folding shelf for the Coleman stove. $6! No sliders or fancy stops here. Just gets the job done easy and cheap!
Replaced the front prop shaft with the Lucky 8 shaft. (Can’t beat the price and the grease points!) and then with that taken care of I built a sleeping platform. Next I’ll be painting the dang headliner. Also, I tightened that sports netting by tying the string in a loop knot and it’s the perfect place to hang a lantern for camping.
Lifted my 02 D2 2" - went with OME MD springs in the front, new OME shocks all around, and 2" TF spacers in the rear. Drives outstanding and the fresh suspension is way better than what I replaced (stock?)

I'm always looking of how I can have less clutter inside the truck. Move these items outside, not really happy with the hi lift, it looks awkward but I really didn't want it in the rear since my trunk is heavy with other equipment. And I feel like I have a bit better grips on the front now with a bit of weight.

Purchased an 04’ Disco S a few months ago that seemed reasonably well kept with only 93k miles and no CEL. Shifted into OD a little rough but I knew 90k was time for new filter so I’d have that done anyways with the trans conditioner and valvoline max atf that so many people recommend here.
long story short the front drive shaft had done the thing it’s famous for and somehow didn’t completely demolish the case but put a 1 1/2” chip in the machined surface of the trans case that the gasket mates to. No fluid was leaking at time of purchase because it had leaked low enough to get past the damaged area but was causing the hard shift and torque converter lockup issue.
Filled the system last week, got all new hardware for the pan, and used rtv to help seal that area. Leak persisted and also suffered a stripped bolt on the passenger side because I used a harbor freight tap which wasn’t what anyone would call precise.
This weekend I used JB weld to level the damaged area ($10), purchased a couple 8” flat files from harbor freight which I cut down to 5” to better fit in the space around the pan ($9), more ultimate black rtv ($7), a pack of 6x1.0 50mm bolts, washers, and lock nuts ($5).
I used my 7mm drill bit and drilled out the 6 holes around the pan to pass the bolts through the top of the case. I then used the 6 “U-shaped” brackets that hold the pan and passed the bolt through them and tightened them in place with the nylon lock nuts.
NO MORE LEAKS!! I feel this setup is superior to the original design. It allows for more than the 6 ft-lbs that the manual calls for and doesn’t require the soft aluminum case to be over tightened and stripped, which is surprisingly easy even a 1/4” drive. Obviously don’t tighten to the point you damage the gasket or the pan but I felt very comfortable getting 20 ft-lbs to the nut and bolt set up.
