What did you do with your DII today?
Thanks!
I wanted real Mud tires instead of street tires or even all-terrain, and 265x60 is a great size for a mud tire on a stock Disco body.

Comparing my new 265x60 R18 mud tires to my old no-tread stock size street tires went from my speedo showing 75 mph when I was only doing 73 (GPS) to now I show 75 but I'm going 76 mph on my GPS.
Your new tire is 5% taller, not including the amount of wear on the old tires, reducing the overall circumference so that makes perfect sense.
Installed 3" Terrafirma lift kit. Heavy duty coils, long travel shocks. Replaced steering damper with Terrafirma damper. Replaced stock front drive shaft with Tom Wood. "My shaft is a woody". Replaced brake lines with extended braided lines. Bled brakes (went with Dot 4 Valvoline) . NO 3 AMIGOS!! HD front bumper and 12k winch tomorrow. Tires will be mounted Monday. T-stat arriving Tuesday or Wednesday (thanks Extinct). All went well. No hiccups (besides some rain throughout the day). Big thanks to the Forum and to Lucky 8 for excellent customer service and fast shipping...and for picking up the phone to answer all of my stupid pre-order questions!!!!
back from Moab and the D2 did fantastic. The RTE 3" springs combined with the adjustable terrafirmas performed above and beyond my expectations. Made quick work of Hell's Gate and few other classic Moab trails plus some bombing of dirt roads. No breaks or damaged sustained this trip which is always a nice bonus. Will be posting a bunch of media in the very near future!
