Yes, the D2 pan IS heavy duty...but cast aluminum is known to be brittle. It has very little give before it cracks.
Especially if there is a flaw, trash or air trapped in the material, then you have an unseen weak spot.
Do as you will, but jacking on an oil pan is not smart.
Jacking on the crank pulley is much safer, can support Alot more weight than a pan, Alot more, and usually is an easier spot to get the jack under.

Clearly, you have seen and done some sh*t. And I have seen and done some sh*t.

So in an effort to avoid the dick measuring, the back and forth, the "what the f*ck are you talking about?"post and name calling that most internet comments all seem to devolve into because two people share differing opinions, let's just agree to disagree and move on with our lives.

Sounds like you're upset over comments that you've taken personally.
This IS a discussion forum, no?
So I was discussing the risks of jacking under an oil pan...as we aren't the only 2 people reading this.
So someone reads it and says, "oh, I'll just jack up under the oil pan, because it's harmless". When actually, there's a risk, so I stated it. I Never told you what you should or shouldn't be doing, as I could care less, you do you, and I wish you well in it.

For someone who "could care less", you got salty quick.
Cheers bro.

You quoted me first
No sarcasm or saltiness in "Cool story bro" either, huh?
Or your next post either?
And no, I really don't care, but I'll give what I get...
