Tried and failed changing the motor mounts. The driver side defeated me!
They honestly look look very good. I was going to change them because I thought they were the cause of the hd fan (or what I thought) rubbing on the top of the shroud under load.
@HuskerRover they are a bitch I did mine, with voluminous amounts of cursing. The problem is they can look good but actually be separated, usually at the top. You need to lift the engine a bit to get them out.

frankly, I couldn't get the driver side top nut off. Tried full size and stubby wratchet wrenches. Full size, not enough roof for swing. Stubby, not able to get enough torque on it to move. Tried several stores to find a pivoting wratchet wrench and non had an 18mm. I will regroup for now and talk to the Cornwall guy this week to see how much I will get raped for one from him. Or hopefully one of my techs will have one that I can borrow.
Hey Husker, sorry to hear you had that's giving you fits. I didn't have too much trouble with the engine mounts; I was able to get the upper left-hand nut removed using a stubby 18mm combination wrench.
But I never did figure out how to get a wrench on the upper left-hand transmission mount. If anyone on here knows the secret sauce for doing that please let us know.
And good luck to HuskerRover, from another Husker.
Running into some trouble codes after a full engine rebuild. P1884, P1451, P0414, P0445, P0448, P0102, P0340, P0134, P0154, and the MS flashing Disco party (pun intended). I know that I probably need to replace my battery terminals, they've got an awful connection. I've heard that could be a possible remedy for P1884 and hopefully others. The battery is new and the alternator is charging. It reads 12.87V with the engine off and 14.38V @ idle. I don't know where these go (see photo) and hope this may be my vacuum leak. It's a plastic hose between the bell housing/firewall and the upper plenum. Any help would be much-appreciated guys. Cheers
@cvhyatt Tepui Ayer 2 man 1599 CDN, I got mine for 1200, is a used rental but in perfect shape. But it is a 2 man only, you can check my build thread for more details, requires use of a hockey stick to close though, you can not reach to tuck the front section in.
