I finally finished my double din dash mod. Started last fall and finally had time to finish with reduced hours.
the only problem I have with it is that I am only picking up 3 stations. I ordered the wye adapter hoping it will solve the issue as I'm only able to use the larger antenna lead right now.
I have scoured the forum and get conflicting ideas on it. From what I've gleaned, the antenna amps get powered with the amp. The amp warms up to the touch, and I have sound by using the metra plug with the pre outs, so, my estimation is that the ant amp is working but needs the second ant.

sorry for the crap pic.

Looks great. One question. Is it possible to install this Badland winch when the ARB bumper is in place already? Or do I have to mount the winch to the bumper first and then install the bumper? The reason I am asking: I need a new bumper and add the winch later because of weight (no lift yet).

I can’t say for sure if it’s possible but once you get all the holes drilled and it’s mounted I’d imagine it wouldn’t be too hard to take off and put back on. The winch was decently heavy being a steel cable one I’m not sure if I would be able to do that easily with it on

Went wheeling with a bunch of jeeps. Land Rover's really aren't built to be rock crawlers but I'll be dammed if this thing didn't do what I asked of it. And still make the 4hr trip back home

If you can get a front wheel on something they generally will go where you point them. They will drag the rear quite often but a little bit of armor and finesse and it never hurts anything. Plus that 4 hr drive home is infinitely better than in any Jeep!

Good news! Last week, I set out to replace my fan clutch and fan with the Hayden Severe Duty clutch and the Dorman 620 fan that's been recommended by the forum. Once i had it all apart, it turned out that my water pump shaft had a good amount of play. Lucky8 came through with quick shipping and today I installed the new water pump.

The overwhelming majority of my time was spent trying to scrape off the old gasket. Hopefully a "good enough" attitude works here - I genuinely did get nearly all of it off, but there were 3 or 4 little patches of super thin gasket that just wouldn't come off - and continuing to try was chewing up the front cover. We'll see, I guess.

Initial thoughts on the new fan: it's SO loud. Holy ****. Still bleeding the system but so far my temps seem to be the same - maybe a tiny bit lower at idle. I'm sure this will help once I get my AC fixed.

Old pump didn't look too bad, either:
